Ace Frehley’s long-awaited fifth studio album ‘Anomaly’, was received with open arms to an intimate crowd this past Monday at the Buckshot Bar in San Francisco. This, the album’s third pre-release listening party to date was sponsored by Reality Check TV, and presented by Anomaly Associate Producer Frank Munoz in an attempt to stir up some hype for the albums’ September 15th release. Turns out that hype is causing quite a stir, as Anomaly is shaping up to be one of Frehley’s best efforts to date.

Frehley, former lead guitarist for shock-rock group KISS has enjoyed a fairly successful solo career for the past couple decades upon originally parting ways with the band in 1982. Frehley has since been a part of a handful of reunion stints with KISS and boasts four studio albums The long-awaited Anomaly marks Frehley’s first solo project in nearly twenty years and delivers a sound that is true to his old school hard rock roots, yet is fresh, innovative, and full of energy and catchy riffs. Well worth the wait!

Anomaly will be released on Frehley’s own label, Bronx Born Records, and distribution via iTunes will also be available. In fact, the iTunes edition will feature an exclusive track, entitled 'Return of Space Bear', which Frehley wrote in dedication to the late Tom Snyder of the Tomorrow Show. Snyder interviewed KISS in 1979-shortly before departure of drummer, Peter Criss.
