Gary Thison of Examiner.com reports that Gene SImmons revealed on an interview with Dominski and Doyle on WCSX -FM tjis morning that KISS is planning to recreate the show they performed there in 1975. That show was recorded and featured on their hit album "Alive!" Simmons also stated that this show at Cobo will be recorded and released at a later date as a DVD. No word on if the second show will be a re-creation.

, the brand new song from KISS, is available for streaming in its entirety at KissOnline.com. The track comes off KISS' first new studio album in over a decade, called Sonic Boom, whcih will be released on Oct. 6 exclusively at Wal-Mart. The collection, which is planned to cost only $12, will also feature the band's re-recordings of their greatest hits which was previously available as a Japanese import, and a 2009 concert featuring current members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Update: KISS have announced that a second show will be added for Cobo Hall Arena in Detroit, before the legendary venue gets torn down. The new show date is Saturday, Sept. 26, with the original show on Friday, Sept. 25.
