KISS At Voodoo Experience Music Fest

RTTNews

This weekend's Voodoo Experience music festival in New Orleans featured a set by KISS.

The band had some trouble getting the response they wanted from the crowd - at one point, Paul Stanley told the audience, "We were great, but you sucked" - but still provided their usual dose of visual excitement, complete with fireworks and the usual onstage antics.

The festival also included appearances from Eminem, Jane's Addiction, the Flaming Lips and Lenny Kravitz. The fest began in 1999 and is held annually in New Orleans. KISS released Sonic Boom last month, their first studio album in more than 10 years. It has reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Voodoo appearance included songs from the new album, as well as a set of hits.
