Gene: I get scared to death every time I fly to the top of the light truss. Every time.
Q; Have you ever been afraid of heights?
Gene: I have always been afraid of heights. I simply don't like not having control. Worst of all, I fly up to the truss at about 7 feet a second.... in the dark. I don't like it.
Q: Have you ever lost your balance and thought you were going to fall?
Gene: Every night. Every night.
