We regret to announce that due to copyright issues with KISS' trademark lawyer, we are no longer permitted to use the KISS ARMY name or KISS ARMY logo.
KISS' trademark lawyer was very kind in talking to us and directing us to the right people to (perhaps) get licensed and become official. Well, best laid plans fell apart at the seams and that goal wasn't reached within our agreed 30 day deadline.
We must thank the 'KISS camp' for not suing us. Seriously. Thanks for letting us run with it for the last while. It was a 'blast'. Must admit it was fairly cool having talked to one of KISS' lawyers a few times on the phone. But not as cool as having Gene Simmons and his family, Ace Frehley, and Bruce Kulick follow us on Twitter for the last several months (among other KISS fan celebrities). Sorry if anyone thought we were official. We're just a few 'mega' fans.
We will continue to do the same job we do, only under the new name "KISS WORLD". Thanks a million to all of you for following us for the past few months. We really hope that you continue to follow us and use us as your source for KISS related news. We are still an ARMY of many KISS fans. There's no question about that. We just can't march under the KISS ARMY logo or the name KISS ARMY.
So, welcome to "KISS WORLD" (cue the streamers, music, and dancing girls). Hope you stick around for what is guaranteed to be an exciting year for us and our favorite band KISS.
