KISS Will Perform At Cheyenne Frontier Days
As we first reported here at KISS-World.com, the Wyoming News has now confirmed that KISS will play Cheyenne Frontier Days on July 23rd.
CHEYENNE -- The flamboyant rock group KISS will perform on the opening Friday night of Cheyenne Frontier Days this year.
And Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert have joined the lineup.
A anonymous CFD official confirmed that KISS -- known for its members' painted faces and wild stage outfits -- will perform. The official asked for anonymity because final negotiations over details are ongoing.
But the announcement was made to CFD volunteers last week.
KISS will play on July 23. The band has never performed at CFD before.
According to its Web site, KISS has more than 30 years of record-breaking tours, with performances including Super Bowl XXXIII, the 2002 Winter Olympics and the 2009 American Idol Finale.
Popular songs include "Rock And Roll All Nite," "Calling Dr. Love," "Detroit Rock City" and "Beth."
Younger generations may know founding member and bassist Gene Simmons from his reality show called "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."
Ticket prices and an on-sale date have not been announced yet.
