PLAYING to a packed-out arena sure makes you hungry.
Something of a party started on Sunday night at East Sydney seafood staple Blue Angel when the four members of KISS and their entourage rocked up for a late feed following their Allphones Arena gig.
Fellow diners tell Confidential the band - who feasted on 10kg of King Island crab, platters of lobster sashimi and south pacific oysters - racked up a bill of more than $5000. They also left a $500 tip for the staff, we hear.
While long-time owner Marcello Marcobello would not discuss numbers yesterday, he was surprised at the amount of wine on the table.
"For rock stars they were unbelievably tame," he said.
